About Me
My name is Jeff Olson, and I am an artist, exhibiting for more than 30 years, an art materials professional with 25 years experience in a variety of mediums, and an art educator with more than 15 years of studio art instruction.
Along with my studio practice, I am currently the Art Education Director for Royal Talens North America. My responsibilities include speaking and teaching about artist materials and studio practice throughout Canada and the US, in college and university art programs, to art groups and organizations, and at a variety of professional events.
I grew up in Eastern Washington State, graduating from High School in 1983. The following year I attended Washington State University, ultimately receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, then returning in 1990 as a Graduate student, receiving my MFA in 1992.
